Learn 15 interesting facts related to science

1. Do you know that during an average lifetime the heart pumps around 1.5 million barrels of blood which is enough to fill 200 oil train tankers?

2. Do you know that the volume of one inch of rain is equal to 10 inches of snow?

When about 1 inch of water evaporates at a temperature of about 30 degrees, it produces 10 inches of snow.

3. Do you know that the "helium superfluid" does not follow the law of gravity after climbing into a vessel?

At a temperature of 2.17K, which is very close to "absolute zero" and also known as the "Lemda Point", there is an incredible change in the properties of liquid helium and it becomes "superfluid" i.e.  The viscosity coefficient becomes zero due to which it can easily flow faster than a small hole in any medium in the aperture.

 4. Do you know that when a handful of salt is poured into a glass of water, the water level in the glass goes down?

In fact, when a handful of salt is added to a glass of water, the volume of water in the glass decreases by 2%.  The reason for this is that when the salt is added to the water, the solvent molecules of the water become more streamlined in the area around the fission ion.

 5. Do you know the name of the person who used to write his address as chemical elements?

The person's name was "Chemist Glenn Seaborg" and he used to write Sg, Lr, Bk, Cf and Am as addresses.

Where Sg stands for "Siborgium" and represents "Seaborg".

Lr stands for "Lawrenceium" and represents the "Lawrence Berklee National Laboratory".

Bk refers to "Berkelium" and represents the city of "Berklee".

Cf stands for "California" and represents the state of "California".

Am refers to "Americam" and represents "America".

 6. Another interesting fact is that when a person's body sweats for ninety minutes, then his brain has the same shrinkage as the brain shrinks after one year of aging?

7. Do you know that when some metals come in contact with water, they explode due to the reactivity of the metal?  It occurs when sodium (Na) reacts with water

When some metals come in contact with air, they get oxidized immediately because these metals are highly functional.  Sodium, potassium, lithium, rubidium, and cesium are the main among these metals, and when these metals are added to water, they explode.  We know that these are all alkali metals and they have only one electron in their outer orbit, due to which they easily abandon this electron and form bonds with other metals.  Therefore, these metals do not exist independently in nature.

 8. Until 1960, a clawed female African frog was injected with female urine as the only method of reliable pregnancy test.  If the frog laid eggs within 12 hours, the woman was considered pregnant.

9. Do you know that an average person walks a distance equal to three rounds of the entire world in his lifetime and an average person accidentally eats 430 insects every year of his life?

 10. Do you know that DNA is also a fire retardant.

Researchers have found that when cotton clothes are coated with DNA, the heredity related elements found in the DNA reduce the flammability of the fabric.  The reason for this is the phosphate present in DNA which when heated produces phosphoric acid which replaces water and acts like a fire retardant.  And actually nitrogen in DNA produces ammonia which prevents combustion.

 11. Do you know that when we are sleeping, we do not know the smell.

In 2004, researchers at Brown University conducted a test on three healthy men and three healthy women in the age group of 20 to 25 who found that everyone woke up in a shock due to loud noise but the smell had no effect on them  |  Which proves that while we are sleeping we do not know the smell.

 12. Enzymes that help in digestion work, our body starts eating after three days of our death.
